March 1st, 2010, is the first day of new semester. After a month of Winter holiday, it is time for students to go back to school. The winter holiday for students usually lasts about 4 weeks, starts from 2 weeks a head of the Spring Festival, and ends after the 15th day of the Chinese lunar new year. Yes, the 15th day of the lunar new year is called Lantern Festival(元宵节). It means the end of that long winter holiday.

In Nanning, the temperature in March is above 25°C, warm and comfortable. Yes, winter is gone.
