Nanning Police Office holds some Police Open Day in the past few years. People from all over Nanning are encouraged to attend the event. The Open Day gives residents an opportunity to find out how the Nanning police team works behind the scenes, especially the S.W.A.T, which is rare to be seen on the public place.

This could be a good chance to have a look at the show and the equipment they use. It is really novel for those common people to see the tec. China has a strict gun control policy, so the officer in patrol would not carry a gun. So many civilians may never seen a gun.

It is also a good chance for the police office to enhance the public confidence on the police and teaching the public some basic rescue skills like how to evacuate from fire scene faster with fireman’s help. People can have a deeper understanding about police work.
