But Nanning is located in the south to the tropic of cnacer, so the lowest temperature is above 0 °C(In China the Celsius scale is the commonest scale), which means there is no snow in Nanning area, so you can see green plants everywhere in Nanning all the year around.

What if someone want to see some icy scenery? Those people who lives in the southern part of Guangxi never seen those icy scenery in their hometown, they may be very curious. Well, though it never snows in Nanning, but in some high altitude area, like on the top of a mountain, the temperature is lower than the foot of it, so in some cold days, people can see Rimed Trees when they climb the mountains. The most popular place for people to see the Rimed Trees is DaMing Mountain(大明山). So in some coldest day of a year, you always can see some one go to DaMing Mountain just for seeing those Rimed Trees, the only icy sight in Nanning area.
